On the road again.... (For you Cath!)

It's Tuesday morning and time to leave Bellingham :-( I DON'T WANT TO GO !
It's so beautiful and relaxing here. 50,000 people but you would never know...it's so spread out, Fairhaven and Bellingham. It has a small town feel....I do love that!
We left the hotel to return the rental car...and hit the road.
As Mark took time to tie down the scooters a bit more, I found a Scrapbook store RIGHT ACROSS the street ! Too fun !
Always nice to go into new shops along our travels.
We were on the road by 10:30. Hwy 5 to 90 through the Snoqualmie National Forest...just beautiful. I can't say the same as we got closer to Spokane...
Looked so dry, the temp was rising too.
Our plan to spend the night in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.

We stopped at a rest area where I filled the video of Jorge, who loves to roll in the grass !

I lightly grilled (in olive oil) some nice bread we bought on Farm to Market road a few days back.
Sliced a Heirloom tomato and drizzled some balsamic vinegar and olive oil on the tomatoes and crumbled some goat cheese and pieces of basil on top.
LUNCH ! on the side of the road....De-Lish !

I found an RV park on line, Coeur d' Alene RV Resort. Nice !
We cruised listening to a nice radio station we picked up as we drove through Seattle, then C.D's Van Morrison, Santana, The Kinks, Neil Young, (thanks Dan ! :-)

We arrived in Coeur d' Alene at about 6pm

Checked in, set up our site, walked the dogs....Mark decided to make this vinegar he has been wanting to make.Blueberries and Basil....the vinegar will be used for dressing in about 2 wks after it ferments....then he started dinner.
Grilled Chicken, Heirloom tomatoes (again) corn on the cob and a shared baked potato...mmmmmmm
What a gorgeous sunset we had here tonight....that makes 3 nights in a row !

Good night...from Idaho
