Bye, Bye Idaho...Hello Utah !

Good Morning !
Well, as we wind down this trip. All in all it's been a great journey.
With some wonderful memories made.
Some sad, like the loss of the truck in Aberdeen, Washington.
RIP Toyota Tacoma.
From the vineyards of Napa and Sonoma to the Redwood Hwy and Humbolt county,
the beaches and berries of Oregon on into Washington, which was heaven in August !
Thanks for following us. I enjoyed all your comments, even though they weren't all
'published'....so many of you sent me comments via email.
Heading home with a few bruises....as My grandmother didn't call me 'Grace' for nothin'.
It's hard sometimes to walk around while this RV is cruisin' on the bumpy highway.

Wishing you a Happy Friday !

Good Evening from Idaho....

Hi,
It was an okay day today, not one of the most scenic drives of the trip, that's for sure.
But, We had a good time. Again, pulled off the side of the road and had the last of our
Heirloom tomatoes, basil, toasted bread and some crumbled cheese from Farm to Market Road.

Ahhhhh....memories of Bellingham.

We drove back into Idaho...just outside Pocatello to McCammon Idaho.
A nice RV Park to spend the night, with a great view and guess what....?
More horses !

We thought maybe we would test out the Lava Hot Springs in the area, but got in about 6pm
Sooooo.... not this time.
We had fun just hangin' with the dogs and the horses here and took a walk at sunset.
Enjoy the photos....

Good Morning from Big Sky Country !

Good Morning !

We had a relaxing morning. Woke up at 7:30 ! I made coffee (from Washington~ Yum !) Mark took some carrots and the dogs to feed the horses again this morning.
I took a shower with a S H A M P O O ! Yeah, for full hook up and the abundance of water !

We did a load of wash, Mark cleaned the RV windows and off we went.
To continue our scenic drive through Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest on one side and
Helena National Forest on the other side of us.
Water from George Town Lake was gushing through the rocks on the side of the road rushing down into a canyon. Flint Creek Dam
Amazing !
We stopped on the side to take a closer look.
Drove on to the town of Anaconda.
A cute little town, every house was as neat as a pin !

You gotta love Wikipedia !......
Anaconda is a company town founded by Marcus Daly of the Anaconda Company which began its smelting operations here and would build the tallest smokestack in the western U.S to support the company's operations in nearby Butte. The supporting community was named after the company. After a century of copper smelting from the Anaconda Company, Anaconda Smelter Stack closed its operations in 1980. Since an operation for environmental cleanup was put into place by the Environmental Protection Agency and executed with the assistance of ARCO. The multi-million dollar cleanup and investment has resulted in the formation of "Old Works" Golf Course, a championship 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

We hit the road at 11 am ...70 degrees the sign says... nice.
So, off we head through Butte, on to Idaho Falls for the night....

See ya !
